Big Dance

Published by ChildsPlay International in 2021, with art direction by Sue Baker. Big Dance grew out of my masters project in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.

Big Dance was longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize in 2022.

It has since been turned in to storywalks and ‘Read Across’ events across the US, included in reading lists by The Reading Agency in the UK and Children’s Books Ireland, and was read by Shirley Ballas as the CBeebies Bedtime Story in 2024 to celebrate the final of Strictly Come Dancing, receiving an impeccable score of 10 from the judges.
